Randy F. Lawson of Pauline and Clarice “Recie” Hickman of Inman announce the engagement of their daughter Cynthia Kaye Lawson to Thomas Christopher King, son of Rev. and Mrs. Monty King of Spartanburg.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 4, 2012 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Buffalo.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Paul M. Dorman High School and Spartanburg Community College and is employed at Wallace Thomson Hospital as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. She is the granddaughter of Katherine Crocker, the late George Garland Lawson, the late Julia Clarice Earley, and the late George Lewis.
Mr. King is a graduate of Paul M. Dorman High School and Spartanburg Community College and is employed at Jack Heckman Tube Company. He is the grandson of the late Malcolm and Blanche King and the late Ralph and Ethel Holden.
