The bride-elect currently attends Virginia Commonwealth University majoring in Elementary Education. She is employed with Kroger Supermarket.
Mr. Black is a graduate of Courtland High School, Spotsylvania, Va. and is currently employed with Laser Quest in Richmond, Va. as a manager. He is the grandson of Thomas Black and Robert and Jean Carter, all of Union. He is the great-grandson of Maude Black of Union and Lillie Carter of Lockhart.
