To the editor:
It appears that politics as usual still is the rule in Union County. An employee of 20 years service without reprimand was recently discharged for trying to bring experience to the office. I will bet that a “crony” with no experience will fill that position.
As an elder of the old school I apologize to the employee and grieve for her personal and professional losses.
