The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:

— Joshua Jeter, 22, of 210 Goings Lane, Union, was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary and two counts of petit larceny around 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 26. According to arrest warrants, Jeter entered a residence on South Street, Union, between Dec. 23-24, 2010, without permission and stole an HP Deskjet printer, an Acer LCD monitor and a keyboard valued at $298. Warrants also state that Jeter entered Kimbrell’s Furniture, located at 300 E. Main St., Union, between Jan. 6-7, 2011, after hours without owner consent and stole merchandise valued at $375.

— Jeffrey Martin Cranford, 48, of 408 Meansville Road, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 12:05 a.m. on Feb. 27.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incident:

— A resident of North Church Street, Union, reported on Feb. 26 that he returned home after a few days away and noticed several items were missing from his home. Missing items included a Remmington .22 caliber rifle, a 12-gauge Remmington shotgun, a 30-30 Remmington lever-action rifle, a Playstation 2 and a bottle of Willie Nelson whiskey. The victim noticed no signs of forced entry, but noticed some locks were unlocked that had been locked when he left. Missing items were valued at a total of $800. The case was turned over to investigations.
