The Union County Chamber of Commerce welcomes Computer Magic as its newest member.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Torance Inman pointed out that although the business is new to Union, the owner — Gay Horne — is not.
“They felt it was important for them to join the chamber,” Inman said. “They quickly joined right after opening for business. We encourage all businesses — new and old — to be part of the chamber.”
Horne named a few reasons she considers a chamber membership to be valuable. The first and most obvious reason is that the chamber promotes its businesses, getting the word out through advertising and business contacts. She also mentioned that people who are looking for referrals may contact the chamber for assistance.
“I also think it shows a vote of confidence in your community by joining the chamber,” Horne said. “It shows that you’re here and you’re committed.”
