OCTOBER 31
BETHEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will be having a Trunk or Treat starting at 6 p.m. There will be lots of candy and fun for everyone.
Also, the Children/Youth will have two community service events going on as well. The first is called Sight Night, so when you come out for Halloween fun bring your unwanted glasses (all kinds, even sunglasses). These can be for adults or children. The glasses will then be repaired and hand-delivered to adults and children in need in developing countries.
The second event we will have is The Coats of Many Colors. This is a coat collection for the nursing homes, children’s hospital and clothing ministry. Just bring your slightly used coats (heavy or light) to be distributed throughout Union County. We just want to start making the holidays a little easier for those less fortunate.
