UNION — Two passes to a historic North Carolina estate provided by an area educational institution and gas cards good at a local gas station will be among the prizes handed out during Monday’s Business After Hours at the Union County Arts Council.

Sponsored by the Union County Chamber of Commerce, Business After Hours is a quarterly event that gives chamber members and the public an opportunity to come together in a relaxed setting.

The setting at Monday’s event will include live music provided by the Arts Council as well as the works of art on display at its gallery at 116 E. Main St. in Union.

Each Business After Hours is hosted by a chamber member and sponsored by four other chamber members.

One of the sponsors for Monday’s event is also providing a special door prize.

“There will be two adult passes to the Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina,” Torance Inman, chamber executive director, said. ‘The passes are being provided by Spartanburg Community College.”

Winters Law Firm, ServiceMaster Clean and Harmony Care Hospice are also sponsoring the event. Each sponsor will have a table at the event and Inman said they will each be handing out small gifts to those in attendance.

Inman said the chamber is providing four $25 gas cards as door prizes. He said they can only be used at the Bell Exxon station in Union. Bell Exxon is also a chamber member.

Monday’s Business After Hours will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Inman urged all chamber members and the public to attend.

“It is a great opportunity for chamber members and the public to come and meet other chamber members and hear what services are provided by the sponsoring members,” he said.

The Union County Chamber of Commerce currently has 224 members including local and area businesses, individuals and organizations.
