GREENWOOD — Five area residents were among the students to earn academic honors at Lander University in the spring.
The university recently announced its President’s List, Dean’s List and Freshman Honors for the 201 spring semester 2012.
Undergraduates who have earned a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 out of a possible 4.0 are on the President’s List. Those with a GPA of 3.5 to 3.9 are on the Dean’s List, while freshmen with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 earn Freshman Honors.
The students who received these honors included:
• Black Roche, Whitmire — President’s List
• Jessica Bass, Union — President’s List
• Lashunda Earle, Jonesville — Dean’s List
• Dustin Gregory, Union — Dean’s List
• Meghan Willard, Union — Dean’s List
