UNION — The Hog Jog, which was held Sept. 15 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, is a 5K run that was designed to raise awareness of the YMCA financial assistance program. The event is spearheaded by Midway BBQ with numerous others that contribute the success of the event.
All area schools as well as the Union County School District Superintendent’s office were represented with Buffalo Elementary School bringing home the trophy for the most participation.
At the conclusion of the run, participants were treated to a pancake breakfast. The YMCA would like to thank everyone who came out for the support.
