The Union County Sheriff’s Office shared the following letter from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The UCSO said the letter was to the entire county.
Dear Sheriff Taylor:
On behalf of the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous acts of kindness during the recent South Carolina flood.
Random acts of kindness are essential to our feeling of well-being individually and collectively.
Please know that we were deeply touched by your outpouring of love and support that you shared so openly with our law enforcement family. It was humbling to hear how many of you had us in your prayers.
It is through the grace of God that we have been able to move Sumter County forward to triumph over the recent issues.
May the Lord richly bless you for your thoughtfulness!
Sheriff of Sumter County
