UNION — Mr. Glenn Everett Crisp, 77, husband of Bonnie Gregory Crisp, 2717 Lockhart Highway, Union, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014.
Mr. Crisp was born in Buffalo, Sept. 17, 1936, a son of the late Jessie and Bessie Smith Crisp. He retired from the City of Union Public Safety Dept. and was previously a deputy with the Union Co. Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Crisp was currently owner and operator of the Country Store on Lockhart Highway. He was a member of Brown’s Creek Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon and was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Debbie Boyle and husband Stanley of Union; two sons, Mickey Crisp of Chesnee and Thomas Crisp of Philadelphia, PA; a brother, J.W. Crisp of Buffalo; five grandchildren, Melissa Smith Sanders, Matthew Crisp, Tracy Bond, Lindsay Crisp and Montgomery Crisp; and five great-grandchildren, Meghan Garcia, Calab Branch, Jaden Branch, Reanna Branch and Katelynn Riddle.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at Brown’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. John Lee.
The family will receive friends from 12-12:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the services.

The family will be at the home of his daughter, Debbie and Stanley Boyle, 142 Mitchell Road, Union.
