PACOLET — Mrs. Mary Crocker Harvey, wife of James C. “Buddy” Harvey, 210 Briarwood Drive, Pacolet, passed away Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Harvey was born in Jonesville, S.C., April 24, 1941, a daughter of the late Charlie O’Dell Crocker and Evelyn Haile Crocker. She retired from Spartanburg County School System, District 3 after 31 years of service. Mrs. Harvey was a member of Morningside Baptist Church in Spartanburg. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Haila Harvey Adams; a son, Donald Christopher Harvey, both of Pacolet; a granddaughter, Autumn Jade Adams; two grandsons, Joseph Charner Adams and Creed Harvey; two step-grandchildren, Katey Marie Godfrey and Travis Lynn Godfrey.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 at Jonesville Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jeff Dean and Mr. Chip Cook.
Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Thursday in the church prior to the service.
A private burial will be held at the Haile Family Cemetery.
