PHILADELPHIA, PA — Andrew Morman died Sept. 3, 2013 in Hahnemann University Hospital.
A native of Union, he was the widower of Susie Beam Morman and the son of the late David and Sara Glenn Morman. He attended the public schools of Union County and was a retired construction worker. His Christian journey began at New Hope AME Zion Church and continued at the Corinth Baptist Church. He was a member of Midtown Parish United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a proud member of Local #332 Labor Union.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sara Morman; and one brother, Eldrew Morman.
Survivors include one son, Ronald Morman of N.J.; one daughter, Brenda Weeks of Pineville, S.C.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a special niece, Sandra Lee Thompson; and a host of cousins and friends in Philadelphia.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013 from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Michael A. Glenn Funeral Home, 361 Meansville Road, followed by burial at noon in New Hope AME Zion Church Cemetery.
