UNION — Mr. Steven Keith Becknell, 50, husband of Donna Inabinet Becknell, 196 Boatman Springs Road, Union, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013.
Mr. Becknell was born in Union, S.C. on July 13, 1963, a son of Harold F. Becknell and the late Nancy Vinson Becknell. He was a member of Bogansville United Methodist Church and attended Lower Fairforest Baptist Church. He was owner and operator of Motor Trucking, LLC.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are two daughters, Destiny Haven Becknell of Texas and Nancy Elizabeth Becknell of the home; one son, Christopher Keith Becknell of West Springs; one step-son, Chase Stamper of the home; one step-daughter, Corrine Stamper of the home; three grandchildren, Hallie Becknell, Alayna Becknell, and Brayden Becknell; one step-grandchild, Amiya Farr; one brother, Michael “Mike” Becknell of West Springs; and in-laws, James and Sarah Inabinet of Union.
Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013 at Bogansville United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Don Alexander and Rev. Jim Cunningham. Burial will follow at Lower Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Mark Lawson, Eddie Vinson, Ray Vinson, David Becknell, Russell Inabinet, Terry Smith, Troy Brewington, and Lynn Wood.
Visitation will be held 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday prior at Bogansville United Methodist Church.
