JONESVILLE — Mrs. Cynthia Inman Horne, 57, wife of Gene Horne, 1101 South Jonesville Highway, Jonesville, SC passed away at her home Thursday afternoon, March 27, 2014.
Mrs. Horne was born in Union, SC March 26, 1957, the daughter of Lavenia Knox Inman of Jonesville and the late Herbert Arthur Inman. She was a graduate of Union High School and was the former plant manager of Hamricks — Jonesville Plant. Cindy also worked alongside her husband at the family business, Gene’s One Stop. She will always be remembered as a hard worker and loving wife, mother, grandmother and daughter. She was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a daughter, Tonya Smith and husband Scott of Lockhart; a son, Robbie Horne and wife Melanie of Jonesville; three grandchildren, Tayla Smith, Raina Smith and Emily Vinson and husband Gene; and one great-grandson, Masen Vinson.
Mrs. Horne was pre-deceased by twin sisters.
Graveside funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014,at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Dr. Eddie Saxon and the Rev. Jeff Dean.
Active pallbearers will be Robbie Horne, Donald “Pete” Smith, Ernie Webber, John Garner, Sammy Jones, Lance Whitfield, Danny Williams and Dean Robinson.
The following are asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers: James Littlejohn, Roger Wynn, Joel “Lucky” Ziegler, James “Knotty” Fowler and Steve Bogan.
The family wishes to say a special thank you to Blue Ridge Hospice and her special friends, Cheryl Garner, Kris Whitfield, Arlene Wynn and Vickie Vaughan.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening at Holcombe’s Jonesville Chapel.
