UNION — The Union County High School JV volleyball team fell to Woodruff 17-25 and 18-25 on Monday.

“We lost both games to Woodruff,” Coach Sherry Jackson said. “We were up 13-12 in the first game but made too many errors and let the game get away from us.

“Kasie Roark continues to serve well, she had 4 aces,” she said. “Brianna Fowler also served well, she had 2 aces. Claire Pridemore had an ace. Cheyenne Knox had an ace and an assist. Savannah England had an ace and 2 kills. Caitlin Grant had an assist. Mary Scarborough had a kill. Tayler Stines made some really good passes to the setter.”

Jackson said the team travels to Broome this afternoon.
