UNION — Sims lost to Rainbow Lake 3-0 at home in volleyball Thursday afternoon. The scores were 25-11, 25-12, and 25-9.
“The first game we played, we did really well,” Coach Tracy Duncan said. “We had some nice passes and serves once we got warmed up. The second and third games we fell apart as a team. Lack of communication, and not playing as a team really hurt.
“I have stressed to the girls so much that if you are not playing together, that you will not be very successful,” she said. “Not moving, lack of communication and not playing as a team really hurt us today. I feel confident that if we played as well as we did Monday, we would have won.”
Duncan said the team will face D.R. Hill at home on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
