INMAN — Chapman’s Lady Panthers prevailed over the UCHS Lady Jackets in two JV volleyball matches Thursday.

The final scores were 13-25 and 9-25, but Coach Sherry Jackson said the scores don’t tell the entire story of the games.

“I think we were better matched than the score suggests,” Jackson said. “We made lots of unforced errors. We also missed lots of serves.

“We had a few bright spots,” she said. “Macy Scarborough had two kills, an ace and a dig. Caitlin Grant had an ace and two assists. Savannah England had two kills. Cheyenne Knox had an assist. Claire Pridemore had three aces.”

Jackson said the Lady Jackets will host Clover Monday at 5:30 p.m.
