UNION — The Union County High School JV volleyball team was defeated by Woodruff Thursday afternoon.
Coach Sherry Jackson said Friday that her team was defeated 5-25 and 17-25.
“Woodruff had some strong servers and strong hitters and we did not handle those well at all,” Jackson said. “We had way too many playing errors. Mary Scarborough had some nice passes and hits during the games. Our biggest weakness is receiving serves which we will continue to work on daily at practice.
Jackson said that the team’s next game will be Tuesday at home against Broome.
