UNION — Eighteen years after it first opened its door the Days Inn motel on Toshes Creek Circle has a new roof.
A team of roofers from Mid-South Construction Company spent much of the first half of this week removing the motel’s old roof and putting on a new one.

Shah said that the roofing work began Sunday with roofers working 12 hours a day to remove the old roof and install the new one. He said the work was scheduled be finished Wednesday.
