UNION — Rotarians enjoyed a special holiday drop-in on Friday.
Lynn and Patrick Mornane hosted a drop-in for the Union Rotary Club at Nicholson Mansion at Fairforest Creek, located at 2403 Cross Keys Highway, Union. Rotarian and Chamber of Commerce director Torance Inman described the event as an annual “spouses night out” for Rotary. Inman said there was a great turn out of Rotarians and their guests, who enjoyed a very festive atmosphere and nice refreshments.
“It was a good time of fellowship for Rotarians and their families to celebrate the holidays,” Inman said.
A highlight of the event was the inn’s elaborate Christmas decorations, including 11 Christmas trees. Tours of the inn are still available at $5 per person, from which proceeds are donated to charity.
