UNION — This Saturday, a local church will host a free “Community Thanksgiving Cornucopia” for anyone in need.

Bethlehem United Methodist Church, located at 1622 Kelly Road, Union, will host a free event from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 23.

During the event, the church will give away new and gently used items including clothes, household goods, pillows, blankets, limited food items and more. The church will also give away 25 complete Thanksgiving meals for recipients to prepare at home.

The event will offer free haircuts for children and free blood pressure checks for adults. Health care products will also be given away, as well as lice products and kits. Families will also be educated about methods to get rid of lice.
