UNION — Everyone is invited to come “shop til you drop” at the Carolina Christmas Shop.

The fourth annual Carolina Christmas Shop will be held from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 2, in the Union County Fairgrounds main exhibit building.

The event is free and open to the public, and its wide variety of vendor booths will feature unique gifts including handmade, direct sales and food items.

The event was created four years ago by two friends — Stacey Cochran and Katie Hefner.

“There are always big events like this in Spartanburg and Greenville, and lots of people from Union are always going out of town for these type of events,” Cochran said. “We thought it would be nice to have one here in Union.”

Last year, event organizers Stacey Cochran and Katie Hefner estimated that approximately 500 people visited the Christmas shop throughout the day, and they look forward to topping that this year.

Food will be available from Fat Sam’s at the event.
