WHITMIRE — The WHS cheerleaders had their annual cheer clinic on Saturday, Sept., 28. There were 66 participants at the clinic. They were taught cheers, sidelines, jumps, and a dance by the varsity and middle school cheerleaders.
After a pizza lunch, they had crafts and made their own key chains to take home. At the end of the day, they received awards and performed for family and friends.
Senior Varsity Cheerleader, Kentrel Whitmire said, “Being my last year, this clinic will hold a special place in my heart. It was also a treat to have both of my little sisters participate in the clinic.”
They performed their routines at halftime of the youth night varsity football game on Friday, Oct. 18.
