The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

— Kerry Allen Walker, 41, of 116 Wedgewood Court, Union, was charged with soliciting prostitution around 1:10 p.m. March 3. According to the incident report, a Union County Sheriff’s Office lieutenant began communicating with Walker through Craigslist email. From Feb. 26-March 3, the lieutenant communicated by email numerous times (26 pages) about Walker meeting for sex at an address on South Duncan Bypass, Union. Before Walker was scheduled to meet at the incident location, the lieutenant informed him by email that it would cost money, and when Walker arrived, he was stopped by law enforcement and placed under arrest.

— Thomas Eugene Jeter, 54, of 3117 Berry Farm Road, Carlisle, was charged with breach of peace and resisting arrest around 8:50 p.m. March 3.

— Shannon Nicole Sanders, 29, of 118 C Vaughan Road, Union, was charged with giving false information around 4 a.m. March 5.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incident:

— A resident of Morning Glory Drive, Union, reported on March 4 that several items had been stolen from his storage trailer. The door to the trailer had been forced open, and missing items included a 15-inch Competition Kicker speaker and a Punch Rockford Frazgate amp. The items were valued at a total of $800.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:

— Lamarcus Devionne Thompson, 22, of 114 Bowling Avenue, Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 9:35 a.m. March 4. According to the arrest warrant, Thompson struck a woman about the face and neck, pulling her hair and choking her, on March 2.

— John Michael Betenbaugh, 35, of 108 Louise St., Union, was charged with filing a false police report and simple possession of marijuana around 8:41 p.m. March 4. According to arrest warrants, Betenbaugh reported that a vehicle was stolen from him at gunpoint while on Broad Street, Union.
