The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:


— Ernest J. Favors, 42, of 402 Tight Circle, Buffalo, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 12:55 a.m. Nov. 1. According to the incident report, Favors assaulted a woman which resulted in a large scrape on the right side of her head, her right shoulder, right forearm, right leg, and the toes of both feet.


— Calvin Lamont Rice, 38, of 101 Cornwell St., Union, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender around 4 p.m. Oct. 31.


The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:


— On Oct. 31, officers responded to Union Paint and Body, 1607 Furman Fendley Highway, Union, in reference to a break-in and burglary. The front door of the business had been broken out, and the building — as well as three vehicles on the property — were burglarized. Items missing from the office of the business included a Bunker Hill DVR security surveillance system valued at $500, a HP desktop computer valued at $500, a Dell desktop computer valued at $500, and a Charter internet box valued at $200. Damage to the front door was estimated at $300. Items missing from a customer’s Chevy Tahoe included two 15-inch Memphis subwoofers valued at $300 and a JVC in-dash radio valued at $300. Damage to the window of the truck was estimated at $100, and damage to a hubcap was estimated at $100. An unknown make and model in-dash radio valued at $300 was missing from a customer’s Chevy El Camino. A keyless ignition/remote entry key valued at $400 was missing from a customer’s Infinity M37.


— The owner of a property on Terrapin Road, Union, reported on Oct. 31 that a storage building on the property was burglarized between Oct. 24-31. The complainant stated the lock was cut from the building, and items missing included a push mower, weed eater, two deer stands, a bug sprayer, a gas can, a sledge hammer and a hoe. Missing items were valued at a total of $5,000.


The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:


— Miles Draughn Williams, 50, of 1108 N. Pinckney St., Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence-intimidation around 2:24 a.m. Nov. 1. According to the incident report, Williams threatened a woman and caused her to fear for her safety.


— Octavious Duquan Smith, 19, of 228 Blue Ridge Drive, Union, was charged with trespassing and possession of marijuana around 12:30 p.m. Oct. 31.


The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incidents:


— Officers responded to an address on Lipsey Street, Union, on Oct. 31 in reference to a cooler which was smoking. Officers located the cooler containing what appeared to be fireworks, and they brought the cooler to headquarters for investigations.
