The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Victoria Brannon Martin, 23, of 1208 W. Main St., Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 11:15 Oct. 30.
— Matthew Jeter, 49, of 405 Lakewood Drive, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct and loud music around 3:50 p.m. Oct. 30.
— Amber Danielle Poole, 19, of 205 Erwin Avenue, Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 11 p.m. Oct. 29. According to the arrest warrant, Poole put a lit cigarette into the skin of a man, under his left eye, while at her residence.
— Julie Diane Goode, 61, of 120 N. Boyce St., Union, was charged with third-degree assault and battery around 8 p.m. Oct. 30. According to the arrest warrant, Goode struck a woman about the face with her hands, causing bruising to the woman’s left eye, while in the parking lot behind Fairforest Apartments in Union.
— Christopher Shane Smith, 34, of 216 Kelly Road, was charged with trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia around 10:25 a.m. Oct. 30.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest:
— Steven Broadbent, 46, of 159 Ashley Acres, Union, was charged with stopping in the roadway around 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30. According to the incident report, officers responded to Jonesville Highway in reference to someone blocking the roadway, and they observed Broadbent sitting on a motorcycle in the middle of the road, with cars attempting to pass by in both directions. Broadbent stated he wasn’t moving because a pothole in the road was preventing him from doing so, but officers advised him there was ample room in the road to travel. Broadbent refused to comply, and he was transported to Union County Jail.
