The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:


— Obedi Talley, Jr., 24, of 204 3rd St., Union; Candi Renee Gilkison, 23, of 102 Second St., Union; Glenn Fuller Berry, 47, of 303 Aetna St., Union; Roger Dale Palmer, Sr., 65, of 303 Aetna St., Union; Beverly Denise Morris, 50, of 206 3rd St., Union; and Margaret Jennings Palmer, 63, of 303 Aetna St., Union, were each charged with breach of peace around 12:22 p.m. Oct. 22. According to the incident report, officers responded to 3rd Street, Union, in reference to a fight. Upon arrival, officers observed all subjects arguing and threatening each other, and they continued to do so after being advised to stop.


The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:


— The owner of Ace Auto Salvage, located at 419 Poplar St., Jonesville, reported on Oct. 22 that tools and car parts had been stolen from his business. Items missing included a set of snap-on sockets valued at $300, a snap-on wrench set valued at $200, four screwdrivers valued at $100, an impact driver valued at $10, snap-on ratchet valued at $95, channel lock pliers valued at $25, a Dewalt impact gun valued at $190, two Dewalt batteries valued at $200, snap-on pry bar valued at $115, snap on 1/2 impact gun valued at $850, battery to impact gun valued at $400. Several parts from a vehicles on the lot and around 30 converts — valued at $4,500 — were also missing from several work trucks in the yard.


— A resident of Labaw Road, Carlisle, reported on Oct. 22 that his home was burglarized between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The report states the side door of the house had been damaged as if someone forced their way in. The complainant stated an unopened box of 10 Android Xelio tablets valued at $600 was missing from his desk. Damage to the door and frame was estimated at $150.


— Deputies responded to the 2900 block of Furman L. Fendley Hwy., Union, around 12:34 a.m. Oct. 23 in reference to an unlawful burn pile. According to the incident report, the pile was in an area of thick vegetation and standing trees, and it was unattended. The pile contained a quantity of items which are unlawful to burn, including metal cans, building materials including sheetrock, cinder blocks, bricks, lumber and plywood, remnants of household appliances including a washing machine, the remains of a couch or recliner, and clothing. The fire also damaged several live trees.


The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:


— Donny Steven West, 34, of 205 Erwin Avenue, Union, was charged with open container around 11:31 Oct. 21.


— James Michael Jeter, 29, of 1418 Peach Orchard Road, Union, was charged with trespassing around 6:40 p.m. Oct. 22.
