The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest:
— Joe Curtis Davis, 50, of 1031 Maybinton Road, Whitmire, was charged with breach of peace around 10:50 a.m. Oct. 8.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
— A resident of Old Buncombe Road, Union, reported on Oct. 8 that her home was burglarized. The complainant is in the process of moving, and several items were taken from her front porch — two Ryobi battery-powered skill saws and two Ryobi battery-powered drills. The tools are valued at $400. A set of borrowed hand trucks displaying the name Kingsmore were also taken from inside the house. A power cord from the pump unit of the swimming pool was also removed, and damage was estimated at $80.
— A resident of Osbourne Street, Union, reported on Oct. 8 that her dog was stolen from her front porch. Upon returning home after being gone for one hour, the complainant stated her brindle and white pit bull, as well as its collar, were missing. The four-five-month-old dog was valued at $500.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Santa Reatheal Walker, 53, of 301 Spring St., Union, was charged with shoplifting around 10:30 a.m. Oct. 8. According to the arrest warrant, Walker stole two rolls of duct tape — valued at $7.50 — from Dollar General, located at 410 North Duncan Bypass, Union.
— Christopher Antonio Brannon, 34, of 208 Erwin Avenue, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 11:30 p.m. Oct. 8.
— James Keith Bumgardner, 45, of 274 Hickory Ridge Road, Jonesville, was charged with disorderly conduct around 9:08 p.m. Oct. 8.
— Kimberly Jean McCutcheon, 42, of 683 Rice Avenue Extension, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 9:30 p.m. Oct. 8.
