The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Natasha Charlene Hill, 37, of 207 Birchwood Road, Union, and Crystal Gail Calicutt, 31, of 120 Candler Drive, Buffalo, were each charged with disorderly conduct around 12:40 p.m. Sept. 9. According to the arrest warrant, Hill and Calicutt engaged in a physical altercation while at an address on Thompson Boulevard, Union.
— Linda Kay Johnson, 54, of 115 Wedgewood Court, Union, was charged with trespassing around 11:25 a.m. Sept. 9.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incidents:
— A Whitmire resident reported his book bag was stolen after he placed it on the counter of Family Dollar, located at 400 E. Main St., Union. According to the incident report, the store manager viewed surveillance footage with an officer and observed a man and woman enter the store pushing a stroller. The woman placed the bag on her shoulder and the man placed loaves of bread in the stroller. The footage was copied for the officers to complete a follow-up investigation.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest:
— Christin Prince Clark, 25, of 104 Baber St., Union, was charged with breach of peace around 6:35 p.m. Sept. 9.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
— A resident of Monarch Highway, Union, reported Sept. 10 that a black and gray moped was stolen from outside his residence. The moped was estimated at a value of $500. The case was sent to investigations.
— A resident of Pineland Road, Union, reported on Sept. 9 that she has received calls for the past several weeks from a company calling itself Advance Capital Solutions. The caller stated the victim owed a debt from a check cashing store and would be prosecuted if the debt is not paid. The victim paid $80 last month and is still receiving calls. Officers advised the victim this is a scam and not to send any more money. The case will be sent to investigations.
