Tuesday, June 24-Thursday, June 26

6-8:30 p.m.: Salem Baptist Church, 1835 Tinker Creek Road, Santuc, will hold its annual Vacation Bible School. The program, “Weird Animals,” conveys the message that God loves them no matter their differences. Supper will be provided each night.

Tuesday, June 24-Friday, June 27

6-8 p.m.: St. Luke Baptist Church, Buffalo, holds Vacation Bible School. Rev. George W. Shell. Pastor.

Saturday, June 28

7 p.m.: Morningside Baptist Church holds an Independence Day Celebration. Music by “They Childers.” There will be drinks, popcorn, and fireworks. The celebration will be held outside weather permitting so bring a lawn chair.

Sunday, June 29

2 p.m.: St. Luke Baptist Church holds its Men’s Day Program. The speaker will be the Rev. Elijah Ray, pastor of Wyatt’s Chapel Baptist Church. We invite all churches and the public. Rev. George W. Shell, Pastor.

3 p.m.: The Inspirational Choir of McBeth Baptist Church celebrates their Choir Anniversary. The public is invited. Rev. Freddie L. Wicker, Jr., Pastor.

Sunday, July 6

11 a.m. & 2:30 p.m.: Lockhart Chapel Baptist Church, 472 Old Union Road, holds its one day revival. Rev. Harry F. Giles will be the speaker for that morning. At 2:30 p.m. Rev. Geoffrey Stephens, the pastor of Red Hill Baptist Church, will be the speaker. Please come out, sing, shout, praise and worship in Jesus’ name.

Sunday, July 6-Friday, July 11

6-8:30 p.m.: Welcome Baptist Church, Monarch Highway, holds Vacation Bible School “Cross Canyon Trails.” There will be Bible lessons, crafts, food, and fun times!! If you need a ride, call church at 427-3390 and leave a message.

Sunday, July 13-Thursday, July 17

5:45-8:30 p.m.: First Baptist Church in Union and Grace United Methodist Church holds Vacation Bible School at First Baptist. The name of the Vacation Bible School will be “Weird Animals.” The Vacation Bible School will be for children K-4 through 5th grade. Pre-registration is Sunday, June 29, 4-6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Union.

Sunday, July 13

2 p.m.: The St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church, 539 St. Luke Church Road, Carlisle, S.C., hold it’s annual revival. The speaker will be Rev. Ronnie McCrorey, pastor of New Hope A.M.E Zion Church, Sedailia Community, Union, SC. “When is a revival needed? When carelessness and unconcern keep the people asleep.” The pastor is Rev. Albert L. Sartor, Jr. The pubic is invited.

Saturday, July 19

4 p.m.: The Bethesda Baptist Church (in Santuck) Family holds an appreciation celebration for the church musicians. The public is invited. Rev. Roderick Oglesby, Sr. is pastor.

Sunday, July 20-Wednesday, July 23

1:30 p.m. & 7 p.m.: Friendship Baptist Church, 250 Morning Drive, Spartanburg, holds Revival Services. The Rev. Brandon T. Whitehurst, pastor of Monks Grove Baptist Church in Spartanburg will preach the opening sermon on Sunday, July 20 at 1:30 p.m. A fellowship dinner will follow. The Rev. Calvin Gallman, pastor of the New Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church of Duncan will preach Monday, July 21 at 7 p.m. The Rev. Anthony Wilson, pastor of the Bethany Baptist Church of Joneville will preach Tuesday, July 22 at 7 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Jefferson N. McDowell, pastor of the Mount Zion Baptist Church of Laurens will preach Wednesday, July 23 at 7 p.m. The public is invited. Rev. Michael A. Glenn is church pastor.

Sunday, Aug. 3

11 a.m.: Old Timey Homecoming at Padgett’s Creek Baptist Church. This is in celebration of the 230th anniversary of the church. All visitors are invited to attend and learn some of the history of this wonderful church.

Sunday, Sept. 14,

11 a.m.: Padgett’s Creek Baptist Church recognizes Masons and Shriners during the morning service. All visitors are invited to attend.

Sunday, Nov. 2

4 p.m.: The Male Choir of Friendship Baptist Church, 250 Morning Drive, Spartanburg, presents a Fall Gospel Concert. The public is invited. Rev. Michael A. Glenn, Pastor.
