2 p.m.: First Baptist Church will have an Easter Egg Hunt.
2-4 p.m.: Augsburg Lutheran Church, 151 Connector Road (Next to Brian’s Body Shop) holds an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt followed by light refreshments and an Easter Story. Please bring your own Easter Basket. All children (Ages 1-4, 5-7, and 8-10) must be accompanied by an adult. 3-5 p.m.: Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 1622 Kelly Road, holds an Easter Egg Hunt. There will be games, a giant slide, the egg hunt, bingo, and a cakewalk. There will be a hot dog supper at 5 p.m.

6 a.m.: Friendship Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Fairforest holds a combined Easter Sunrise Service at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. W.I. Jenkins as the guest preacher.
6:30 a.m.: New Horizon United Christian Church hosts the Joint Easter Sunrise Service. Rev. Sumter Franklin of Monarch Baptist Church will bring the message along with Bethel AME Church. Orlando S. Allen, Pastor.
7 a.m.: Padgett’s Creek Baptist Church holds a Sunrise Service in front of the church.
7 a.m.: First Baptist Church will have a sunrise service on the front lawn of parsonage, Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., and then at 10:45 a.m. the choir will present their Easter Cantata.

10:30 a.m.: “He Died to Set You Free.” Easter is all about JESUS. Yes, the Easter bunny is cute, and an Easter egg hunt is fun. But, Easter is all about JESUS!!! He died on the cross to set you free. The Union Moms In Prayer group meets each Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Family Life Center of Bethel United Methodist Church, 1705 Lockhart Highway, Union, S.C. This is an informal gathering of moms, grandmothers, and any other interested ladies who would like to be a part of this important ministry of praying for the students, teachers, and staff of our schools. There is also opportunity, for those who wish, to ask prayer for specific individuals. All ladies are welcome to participate. The Missionary Auxiliary of the Pacolet River Baptist Association has an Emergency Food Pantry in the rear (annex) of the town hall in Jonesville. The pantry is open Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and other times by calling the numbers posted on the sign at the entrance of the annex. Bring identification and proof residence.
