UNION — A local car club gave back to children in the community on Saturday.

The Done One and All Auto Club gave out hot dog lunches and book bags filled with school supplies to local children while hosting its first “Back to School Bash” at Foster Park.

“We just want to do something positive in the community,” said club president Josh Kennedy.

Kennedy said club members are especially sensitive to underprivileged children in the community and want to make their lives better.

“We want everything we do to have a positive impact,” he said.

Kennedy said the club was founded in February 2013 as a group of friends who were interested in cars. The club takes trips to various car shows and meets on a monthly basis in Union.

The club is planning to sponsor a turkey giveaway around Thanksgiving and Christmas presents for children in December.
