7 p.m.: Buffalo United Methodist Church will have Movie Night in the fellowship hall. Popcorn and drink will be served. Admission is one item for food pantry and everyone is welcome.
Sunday, March 2
11:45 a.m.-Until: Fairforest Baptist Church holds 1st Sunday Lunch. Plates include one meat, three sides, dessert, bread, and drink. There will also be cucumber, tomato, and onion slices while supplies last. Meats include ham and fried chicken. Sides include macaroni and cheese, green beans, rice and gravy, potato salad, turnip greens, sweet peas, and cream corn. Diners have their choice of rolls or cornbread. Beverages including sweet/unsweet tea and water. There will be various baked goods to choose from for dessert. All items are available while they last. Takeout is available, call in and pick up — 427-3430. Dine-in from 11:45 a.m.-until. Adults — $8, Children ages 4-12 — $4, and children ages three and under — free. Tuesday, March 4
5-8 p.m.: Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 1622 Kelly Road, hosts a pancake supper. The same great cooks will be in the kitchen preparing pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and grits. There will also be coffee, juice, and tea. A regular serving is $7.50 and all you can eat is $10. All proceeds are for the youth to go on a Nicaragua mission trip.
Wednesday, March 5
5:30 p.m.: The Laura Farr Sunday school class of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 573 Wesley Chapel Road, will have their Poor Man’s Supper. On the menu will be pinto beans, stewed potatoes, cabbage, cornbread fatback and sweet tea. Desserts are extra. For takeouts call 427-5319. Everyone is invited and everyone is welcomed. Ash Wednesday service to follow supper.

2 p.m.: The Ushers of Woodson Chapel Baptist Church holds their annual program. Rev. Roderick Oglesby Sr., pastor of Bethesday Baptist Church in Santuck, will be the speaker. Rev. Robert E. Collins, Pastor.
2:30 p.m.: James Chapel Baptist Church holds its Spring Revival. Pastor Shell from St. Matthews #2 Baptist Church in Blair, S.C., will deliver the word. Please come out to fellowship and uplift the mighty name of the Lord with us. If you are not able to attend please send us your prayers.
Friday, March 14
9 a.m.-Until: New Life Baptist Church, 502 Meansville Road, Union will be having a church wide Bake Sale. There will be homemade cakes, pies, cookies, and goodies! All proceeds will go to the Coastline Bus Fund. New Life…A Place to Call Home!
7 p.m.: Glendale Baptist Church, 111 Hottel Circle, Glendale, S.C., hosts a concert by The Chuckwagon Gang. This will be a love offering event. For more information call 864-415-1461.
Sunday, March 16
2 p.m.: The Red Hill Baptist Church holds its annual choir anniversary. Pastor Stephens and the church family invite the public to share in this service.
The Union Moms In Prayer group meets each Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Family Life Center of Bethel United Methodist Church, 1705 Lockhart Highway, Union, S.C. This is an informal gathering of moms, grandmothers, and any other interested ladies who would like to be a part of this important ministry of praying for the students, teachers, and staff of our schools. There is also opportunity, for those who wish, to ask prayer for specific individuals. All ladies are welcome to participate. The Missionary Auxiliary of the Pacolet River Baptist Association has an Emergency Food Pantry in the rear (annex) of the town hall in Jonesville. The pantry is open Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and other times by calling the numbers posted on the sign at the entrance of the annex. Bring identification and proof residence.
