5:30 p.m.: The Laura Farr Sunday school class of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 573 Wesley Chapel Road, will have their Poor Man’s Supper. 7 p.m.: Bountiful Blessing Church, 110 Peake Road, Roebuck, will hold host a revival preached by Minister Eric Talley, a former resident of Union County. 11:30 a.m.: St. Paul Baptist Church, Union, will present a Black History Program. The program will include a presentation on the history of Black History Month by Jackie Stevens; a profile of Patricia Bath presented by Dimitri Dean; and a profile of Granville T. Noon-Until: Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 1622 Kelly Road, Union, serves Sunday Dinner. The menu includes fried chicken, roast beef, steak and gravy, creamed potatoes, rice and gravy, macaroni pie, green beans, lima beans, slaw, rolls, tea, and dessert. The cost is $8 per person. The Union Moms In Prayer group meets each Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Family Life Center of Bethel United Methodist Church, 1705 Lockhart Highway, Union, S.C. This is an informal gathering of moms, grandmothers, and any other interested ladies who would like to be a part of this important ministry of praying for the students, teachers, and staff of our schools. There is also opportunity, for those who wish, to ask prayer for specific individuals. All ladies are welcome to participate. The Missionary Auxiliary of the Pacolet River Baptist Association has an Emergency Food Pantry in the rear (annex) of the town hall in Jonesville. The pantry is open Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and other times by calling the numbers posted on the sign at the entrance of the annex. Bring identification and proof residence.
