The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Penny Michelle Walker, 45, of 317 Mt. Lebanon Road, Pauline, was charged with third-degree arson, petit larceny and breaking into a motor vehicle around 7 p.m. June 12. According to the incident report, officers responded to an address on T Bishop Road, Jonesville, around 6 a.m. June 12 after a resident reported that he woke up to find his barn caught fire some time during the night. He was also missing a blue hose pipe, a set of keys for a 2003 Chevy truck, a set of keys for a 2001 Ford F-250, and a horseshoe puzzle. Missing items were valued at a total of $70. After an investigation, Walker was arrested under the charges listed above. The horseshoe puzzle was recovered.
— Eugene Warren Moore, 45, of 1201 Old Buncombe Road, Union, was charged with trespassing around 6:55 p.m. June 12.
— Gregory O’Bryan Peake, 29, of 246 Blueridge Road, Union, was charged with resisting arrest, driving under the influence and open container around 11:24 p.m. June 11. According to the incident report, Peake ran from officers when told he was under arrest on a warrant.
— John Russell Thomas, 27, of 122 Bird Street, Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence and possession of another’s driver’s license around 4:45 a.m. June 11.
— Terry Lee Thompson, 39, of 1410 Pineland Road, Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 1:30 a.m. June 10. According to the incident report, Thompson punched a woman in the head several times, kicked her in the ribs and legs, and further assaulted her over an extended period of time.
— Yatonian Sherman Salter, 33, of 914 North Church Street, Union, was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession of marijuana around 10:20 a.m. June 9. According to the incident report, $135 cash was also seized from Salter because he has no means of gainful employment.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
— A resident of Old Buncombe Road, Union, reported that someone broke into her storage building between 4 p.m. June 10 and 2 p.m. June 11, stealing a Gateway computer valued at $100, a Panasonic stereo valued at $50, and a Panasonic home theater system valued at $100.
— A resident of Old Buncombe Road, Union, reported that someone broke into his truck and storage building between 8 p.m. June 10 and 5 p.m. June 11, stealing a Stihl chainsaw, a weed eater, a Black and Decker drill, a Dewalt drill and other various tools, with missing items valued at a total of $775. The case was turned over to investigations.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Andrew Lee Epps, 29, and Amy Michelle Martin, 30, both of 348 Peach Orchard Road, Union, were each charged with criminal domestic violence around 7:20 p.m. June 11. According to arrest warrants, Epps and Martin engaged in a physical altercation while at an address on Harwood Heights, Union. According to warrants, Epps knocked Martin to the ground and caused redness to her chest. Warrants also state Epps suffered abrasions and contusions to his torso.
— Ali Frazier Sanders, 27, of 1909 Lockhart Highway, Union, was charged with driving under suspension around 9:25 p.m. June 11.
— Matthew Tyler Martin, 20, of 823 Browns Creek Church Road, Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 2:20 p.m. June 11. According to the arrest warrant, Martin grabbed and scratched a woman’s neck and left wrist while at an address on East Main Street, Union.
— Andrew Justin Cool, 18, of 699 Joe Walker Road, Union, was charged with assault and battery and criminal domestic violence around 11:01 p.m. June 11. According to the arrest warrant, Cool choked, hit and scratched a woman while at American Inn, located at 755 North Duncan Bypass, Union.
— Kimberly Arline Williams, of 408 Abner road, Spartanburg, was charged with driving under the influence around 7 p.m. June 10.
— Brent Tyson Austin, 37, of 308 Hick Street, Union, was charged with driving under suspension and seat belt violations around 10:28 p.m. June 12.
— Christopher Allen Grier, 26, of 303 South Herndon Street, Union, was charged with trespassing after notice around 9:30 p.m. June 12.
— Justin Taiwan Stevens, 25, of 313 Foster Street, Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 7:35 p.m. June 12. According to the arrest warrant, Stevens pushed a pair of scissors into a woman’s face — stating he would kill her — on April 22, causing her to fear for her life.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incidents:
— A resident of Horseshoe Circle, Union, reported on June 11 that her vehicle was vandalized while parked at an address on Boyce Street, Union. The report states there were scratches on the bumper and all the way around the vehicle, including the back and hood. The vehicle was also spray painted with black spray paint all over, and the headlights and taillights were covered in paint.
