The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Timothy Lamar Smith, 22, of 406 South Mountain Street, Union, was charged with attempted first-degree burglary around 12:50 p.m. April 7. According to the arrest warrant, Smith attempted to enter a residence on Pinckney Street, Union — by removing the screen from the window and raising the window, without the owner’s consent — on Jan. 6, 2014.
— Ryan Kristopher Riddle, 26, of 2959 Santuc-Carlisle Highway, Union, was charged with trespassing around 3:35 p.m. Apr. 7.
— Erika Felicia Jeter, 42, of 523 Joe Walker Road, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 9:24 p.m. April 7.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incident:
— A resident of Riley Road, Buffalo, reported on April 7 that someone had stolen his red in color Kelso rooster, a gray taupe rooster and a solid white hen on April 6. The complainant stated the subject had to be knowledgeable about the birds because those were some of his best ones. He valued the loss at around $250.
