The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Jonathan Matthew Long, 33, of 1418 Main Street, Buffalo, was charged with petit larceny around 7:15 p.m. Sept. 2. According to the incident report, Long took $870.72 from a woman’s checking account by accessing the account to make online transactions.
— Devin Deshawn Gaffney, 21, of 127 Perry Road, Carlisle, was charged with giving false information around 3:56 a.m. Sept. 3. According to the incident report, Gaffney gave false medical information during his intake at Union County Jail.
— Jeremiah Antion Sims, 26, of 112 Morning Glory Drive, Union, was charged with resisting arrest around 3:06 a.m. Sept. 3. According to the incident report, Sims attempted to run from a residence when officers arrived to serve a warrant. The report states an officer deployed his taser to stop Sims, and he was transported to Union County Jail.
— Michael Anthony Wynn, 23, of 911 Beltline Road, Union, was charged with breach of peace around 9 p.m. Sept. 2.
— Woodrow Ward, 21, of 276 Oakland Road, Union, was charged with receiving stolen goods around 11:50 a.m. Sept. 2. The incident report lists the goods as $600 worth of portable electronic devices.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Stephen Zachary Collins, 25, of 207 Hillcrest Drive, Union, was charged with larceny and malicious damage to property around 8:07 p.m. Sept. 2. Arrest warrants state Collins broke into the gas tank of a church bus at New Life Baptist Church, located at 502 Meansville Road, Union, on Aug. 1. Warrants state the gas tank was damaged.
— Woodrow Ward, 21, of 276 Oakland Road, Union, was charged with petit larceny and breaking into a motor vehicle around 11:50 a.m. Sept. 2. According to arrest warrants, Ward broke into a woman’s vehicle and took a Samsung Galaxy S4 Smart Phone while at Murphy’s, located at 308 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Union.
— Devin Dershawn Gaffney, 21, of 127 Perry Road, Carlisle, was charged with driving under the influence around 2:26 a.m. Sept. 3.
