The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Thomas Reid Kirk Sr., 45, of 437 Pacolet Street, Jonesville, was charged with possession of a handgun by a person convicted of domestic violence and possession of a handgun with serial numbers obliterated.
— Austin Clarkson Jr., 56, of 1305 North 26th Street, Wilmington, N.C., was charged with forgery around 1:30 p.m. Dec. 10. According to the incident report, Clarkson forged a fraudulent check which appeared to be from Mon-Aetna Baptist Church in Union. The check was written to Clarkson in the amount of $874.62.
— James William Young, 40, of 115 Bush Drive, Union, was charged with driving under the influence around 10:59 p.m. Dec. 13.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Willie Albert Booker, 36, of 1111 Lakeside Drive, Union, was charged with second-degree domestic violence around 12:21 Dec. 12.
— Yolanda Detrice Mills, 27, of 214 Pinetree Lane, Union, was charged with driving under the influence and driving under suspension around 12:36 a.m. Dec. 14.
— Elizabeth Dawn Stephens, 26, of 167 Pasture Drive, Union, was charged with driving under suspension and possession of a controlled substance around 4:47 a.m. Dec. 13.
— Tia Victoria Gault, 20, of 600 Lakeview Heights, Union, was charged with violation of a restraining order around 8:16 p.m. Dec. 11.
— Edwin Sentrell Kershaw, 23, of 144 Peacewood Drive, Union, was charged with breaking into a motor vehicle and petit larceny around 7:45 p.m. Dec. 13. According to the arrest warrant, Kershaw pried a window off a truck while it was parked in the parking lot of Union Medical Center
— Andrea Dawn Gresham, 40, of 2344 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, was charged with filing a false police report around 2:05 p.m. Dec. 10.
