UNION — Everyone is invited to “shop til you drop” at the Carolina Christmas Shop.
The 7th annual Carolina Christmas Shop from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. today (Saturday, Nov. 12) in the Union County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building.
The event will offer a wide variety of unique gifts, as well as other booth exhibits. Shoppers will have an opportunity to schedule mammograms with the Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health Union Location, and lunch will be available for purchase from Kirby’s Cake Shoppe. Admission into the event is free.
The vendors already scheduled for the event include Nutty Bavarian, Bath Fitter, Tell Your Story, Damsel in Defense, Kim Jimenez, Delaine Simonson, Nicole Harmon, Darah Patterson, Shannon Williams, Tracey and Crystal Belue, Arana Coleman, Usborne, Whitmire Girl Scouts, Linda Weaver, Itty Bitty, Brandi Ketterman, Javela Singleton, Karen Finch, Bearden-Josey, Shriners, Lori Sprouse, Carolyn Lawson, Katie Adams, Christen’s Creations, Rhonda Gregory, Rebecca Kirby, Treesaw Designs, Ashley Helton, Nancy and William Koon, Kristi West, Reon Garland, Karen Rempter, Lauren Gibson, Lillian Small, Kirby’s Cake Shoppe, Holly Wise, Orijin Tea, Taryn, Jeanette Israel and Ellen Thomas.
The event was created four years ago by two friends — Stacey Cochran and Katie Hefner.
“There are always big events like this in Spartanburg and Greenville, and lots of people from Union are always going out of town for these type of events,” Cochran said. “We thought it would be nice to have one here in Union.”
Cochran and Hefner said they have been pleased with the growth and success of the Carolina Christmas Shop over the past six years, and they look forward to continuing that going into this 7th annual event.
