After all there’s all that candy at stake. McDonald’s held a Trunk or Treating event in its parking lot earlier this month to give children the opportunity to enjoy some Halloween fun before Halloween.

We kind of doubt that a spider could hand out candy like this Spiderman looks ready to do during the Trunk or Treat at McDonald’s earlier this month. UNION — While Halloween is still a couple of days away, some children got the opportunity to enjoy some early Halloween fun at a local restaurant.

McDonald’s held a “Trunk or Treat” in its parking lot with store personnel handing out candy from the trunks of their cars to children in costume who happily indulged in the opportunity to have some pre-Halloween Halloween fun.

Store Manager Rhonda Greer said that the Trunk or Treat was a happy event with children and their families both enjoying it.

“We got a lot of good response,” Greer said. “They said they appreciated us doing it for the community. The kids loved dressing up for it.”
