UNION COUNTY — The Union County High School Bass Anglers fishing team had four qualifiers who competed in the SCDNR Youth Bass Fishing Championship.
The SCDNR Youth Bass Fishing Championship tournament was held at Lake Murray, and the weigh-in took place at the Palmetto Sportsman’s Classic which was held on Saturday at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds in Columbia.
“These anglers represented Union well,” said Boat Captain Eric Enlow.
The four top qualifiers who competed from Union County were Dray Davis, Reid Franklin, Hunter Enlow and Cory Scott.
The team of Davis and Franklin caught a total weight of 2.90 pounds, and the team of Enlow and Scott caught a total of 17.28 pounds, with Enlow having a large fish which weighed in at 6.04 pounds. Enlow and Scott placed 5th overall in the tournament.
