By all means give thanks for Godly fathers because men who are fathers who strive to life a Godly live and set an example of such living for their children are something to indeed be thankful for. Give thanks for Godly fathers and for Godly mothers because children need both because in both they even more can see the love of God who blessed them with parents just as He blessed their parents with them. A Godly home is to be desired because while human beings are not perfect God is, and a Godly home will come closer to perfection than an ungodly one. So by all means give thanks for Godly fathers and Godly mothers and the homes they make for the children entrusted into their care by the God who loves all His children and wants nothing more than for them to be happy in the life He has given them and in eternity.
