Library moving to Main Street

Image courtesy of the Union County Carnegie Library The Union County Carnegie Library is temporarily relocating to the old Graham Cash Building at 127 East main Street, Union. As it moves to its temporary location the library will be closed from Monday, Dec. 4 to Monday, Jan. 1. The library is relocating to Main Street while the library building at 318 East South Street, Union undergoes a $1.8 million renovation that will be get under way with a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 30.

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m.-6 p,.m.

Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Library Closing

The library will close at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 30.

We Are Moving!

The library will be closed from Monday, December 4-Monday, January 1 while we move to our temporary location due to our upcoming renovation.

We will continue to check our book drop daily.

Use your library card at other SC Lends libraries, and to access electronic resources.

Listen to music, read stories, and have fun! For ages 0-4.

Tuesday Storytime will be held Tuesdays at 10 a.m. through November 28.

For Adults

Unemployment Law

The library will host a 5-part Legal Services Series for adults. Classes will be held select Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. The final class on Tuesday, November 28 is titled Unemployment Law. Listen to the experts, and receive free resources and information! Sponsored by South Carolina Legal Services.
