From this Thursday to Monday, December 11, The Salvation Army is asking businesses, organizations, churches and families to participate in the Angel Tree program by sponsoring a child in need this Christmas season.

From this Friday (Nov. 10) through Saturday, Dec. 23, The Salvation Army Red Kettles will be out in front of stores near you. The Salvation Army needs volunteers for its Red Kettle Campaign. The Salvation Army uses the funds raised by the Red Kettle Campaign to help families in our community throughout the year.


SPARTANBURG — Bring a smile to a child’s face on Christmas morning by participating in The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program and Red Kettle Campaign!

The Salvation Army of Spartanburg and Union Counties will hold their Angel Tree and Red Kettle kick-off on Thursday, November 2 at 5:30 p.m. at the Food Court inside Westgate Mall in Spartanburg.

Performances by Abner Creek Academy and The Salvation Army Community Center will help kick off the Christmas season through song and dance.

From Thursday, November 2 to Monday, December 11, we are asking businesses, organizations, churches and families to participate by sponsoring a child in need this Christmas season. The Salvation Army of Spartanburg and Union counties provided Christmas assistance to more than 1,600 children last year.

From Friday, November 10 to Saturday, December 23, you will find The Salvation Army Red Kettles out in front of a stores near you. These donations that are raised will help families in our community year-round.
