• The Union Lions Club is collecting used/unwanted eyeglasses, hearing aids and cell phones. There is a collection box outside of the Lions Club building, located at 134 E. Main Street, Union. Donated items are refurbished and donated to those in need or sold for money that directly benefits those in need of hearing and vision services. Questions? “The Avenger” was one of several cars in the car show that was part of the Aug. 23 Back-To-School Bash sponsored by four Jonesville area churches on the old Jonesville High School football field behind the Jonesville Municipal Complex. The car show was one of a number of activities at the bash that provided the adults and children attending with four hours of family fun that included a Christian message of God’s love.
