JONESVILLE — The Jonesville Middle School Football Team recently took a trip to Newberry to visit a former member of the Union County High School Football Team who is now playing for Newberry College.

In a statement released earlier this week, Head Football Coach Jay Voiselle said that the Wildcats had traveled to Newberry College to visit Jamarcus Henderson.

Henderson is a Jonesville resident who played for the Union County High School Football Team where, according to Voiselle, he made five tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, and two quarterback hurries.

Now a junior at Newberry College, Henderson continues to play football as a member of the college’s team, the Wolves.
