Sunday, Oct. 22

11:30 a.m.: Covenant Baptist Church will be serving lunch. We will not be serving lunch in November or December. Will start back in January.

Sunday, Oct. 22

2 p.m.: Pastor Aide Ministry of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Jonesville will be celebrating their Annual Program.

Rev. Allen Coggins, Pastor of Refuge of Worship Ministries of Clinton will be the guest speaker.

Rev. Edward Pressley, Pastor.

The public is invited to attend.

Sunday, Oct. 22

2 p.m.: You are cordially invited to New Horizon United Christian’s 24th Year Church Anniversary along with Pastor Orlando Allen’s 20th Anniversary.

Guest speaker will be Minister Lavoy Nance of Old Pilgrim Baptist Church, Simpsonville.

Sunday, Oct. 22

4-6 p.m.: Brown’s Creek Baptist Church, 118 Browns Creek Church Road, will hold its Fall Festival.

There will be free hot dogs, games, hayrides, a cakewalk, a bouncy house, and fun for all ages.

Sunday, Oct. 22

5-7 p.m.: Morningside Baptist Church holds its Awana Fall Festival.

There will be an Object Lesson, games, hot dogs, popcorn, and a cupcake walk.

Sunday, Oct. 22-Wednesday, Oct. 25

11 a.m., 6 p.m., & 7 p.m.: Fairview Baptist Church, 763 Neal Shoals Road, Union, will have Revival Services.

Sunday Morning Service begins at 11 a.m.

Sunday Night Service begins at 6 p.m.

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday services begin at 7 p.m.

Rev. Eric Anderson will bring the message each service.

Everyone is welcome to worship.

Rev. Ross Wilson is Pastor of Fairview Baptist Church.

Saturday, Oct. 28

11 a.m.: Padgett’s Creek Baptist Church, 834 Old Buncombe Road, Union, will hold a “Turkey Shoot.”

Registration starts at 10:30 a.m.

10 rounds/$3 each. $5 for the Money Round.

First Place (each round) — a turkey or a ham.

Second Place (each round) — 1 lb. of bacon.

There will be a 4H Trailer/BB Gun Shoot.

Kids 12 and under free.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Come out to shoot and fellowship.

Saturday, Oct. 28

4-7 p.m.: Mon-Aetna Baptist Church, 1431 Lockhart Highway, holds its Fall Festival.

Join us for free hot dog plates, rides, games, and Trunk or Treat!!

Saturday, Oct. 28

5-8 p.m.: Lockhart Freewill Baptist Church, 126 Askew Circle, Union, will hold its Fall Festival.

Come join us for food, fun, and fellowship.We will have a variety of soups and chili along with tons of desserts.

After we eat we will start the carnival for the kids.

Bring a treat bag, they will be needed.

We ask that they do not wear costumes.

After we finish up the carnival the hayrides will begin. It may be cool, so bring a jacket or a small blanket.

Just a reminder that as always everything is free.

Can’t wait to see you there.

We will serve supper from 5-6 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 28

6-8:30 p.m.: Padgett’s Creek Baptist Church, 834 Old Buncombe Road, Union, holds its Fall Fest.

There will be hayrides, a fall-themed photo booth, games and prizes, candy, food, drinks, a bonfire and s’mores, and plenty of fun.

There will also be a “Decorated Pumpkin Contest” so bring an already decorated pumpkin.

There will also be a “Chili Cook-Off” so get our your recipes because there will be a prize for the “Best Chili.” The sign-up sheet will be on the church bulletin board.

The event is free so bring your family out for a night of fun and fellowinship.

Please bring a dessert.

Sunday, Oct. 29

Noon: Bethany AME Church will be having a Dinner Sale.

All funds will go towards the Bethany AME Community Development Center.

The menu consists of baked or fried chicken, rice and gravy, macaroni and cheese, green beans, potato salad, rolls, tea, and dessert.

$8 for adults and $5 for children.

6 p.m.: The Foster Chapel Baptist Church in Jonesville All-Male Chorus will celebrate their 24th Anniversary.

Friday, Nov. 4

8 a.m.: Augsburg Lutheran Church will serve “Breakfast For Veterans” as part of the church’s annual celebration of Veterans Day.

Sunday, Nov. 12

2 p.m.: We, the McBeth Baptist Church Missionary Ministry, cordially invites you to come worship and fellowship with us on our Family/Friends Day Program.

Our theme for the occasion is “Yes, It’s In Your Hands.”

Our guest preacher will be Rev. Anthony Wallace, Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Gaffney.
