Charles Warner | The Union Times A section of Honey Bee Circle will be closed beginning Wednesday, Sept. 13 in order to allow Dominion Energy Carolina Gas Transmission, LLC to replace a natural gas line running under Sardis Road.


UNION — The replacement of a natural gas line will require the closing part of a road for more than a week.

Dominion Energy Carolina Gas Transmission, LLC announced that earlier this month that it will temporarily close part of Honey Bee Circle for up to 10 business days beginning Wednesday, Sept. 13.

The road is being closed to while Dominion personnel replace the natural gas pipeline beneath Sardis Road.

In order to accommodate the project, a 330-foot section of Honey Bee Circle beginning at its intersection with Sardis School House Road.

Dominion stated that while the work is under way local traffic will still be able to access each end of Honey Bee Circle from Sardis Road. Detour signs will be in place to direct local traffic.
