CLEMSON — Area residents graduated from Clemson University at the May 2017 commencement ceremonies.

They are:

• James T. Stevens of Pacolet Mills, who graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences.

• Zachary W. Bishop of Pauline, who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

• Hunter Thomas Boniface of Pauline, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

• Savannah L. Lawson of Pauline, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

• Ollie V. Burns of Union, who graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management.

• Connor A. Hudson of Union, who graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

More than 3,400 students received degrees at the May 11 and 12 ceremonies.
